Possible secure kennel area within the Coach House garage should you wish to bring a pet with you but sorry the pets would not be allowed in either house but could be allowed in the gardens and on our beach. 
A garden view towards the Northumberland Strait ...try and spot the Cruise Liner. Our woodland plot in the distance can also be seen. There is a short grassedd walk through our woods down to the original Guernsey Cove where local settlers landed.

Cottage Overview:‘The Old Winsloe House’, built in 1906 as a family home, is a typical island house. It is situated in two acres of wooded ground overlooking the Northumberland Strait at Guernsey Cove, near The house has recently been completely renovated creating a modern interior whilst maintaining some of the old character and keeping the old exterior style and front veranda. The property has been refurbished for the executive end of the market. The grounds are currently being landscaped. From May 2009 the house has been available mainly for weekly lettings, or longer if required, with accommodation for eight persons. At certain times the house may be used alternatively as a Bed and Breakfast facility. (In this event there is the option of renting the "Coach House" a self-contained and fully fitted to 4* Canada Select standard capable of sleeping 4 adults.) A ground floor (main floor) bedroom is available for those unable to use the main staircase. There is a central vacuum system, air exchange and forced air heating. This is a non-smoking house. Regret no pets. The accommodation comprises:- Four bedrooms – two queen, one double and one twin. All bedrooms have a small en-suite 4 piece bathroom, wardrobe (closets), table and chairs, ‘In-wall’ convector heaters with individual adjustable thermostats, TV/DVD and telephone handsets with free calls to Ground floor cloakroom Large sitting/dining room approximately 21ft x 14ft, having comfortable sofas, chairs, TV, DVD., mock wood burning stove, dining table and chairs for eight. Patio door to decking and BBQ point. South facing with wonderful views over the Strait to Small study with telephone and internet access for use with personal laptop computers. Large modern kitchen 17ft x 15ft, fitted with double oven, gas hob (cooktop), microwave, double dishwasher, large ‘American’ style fridge/freezer and numerous kitchen units and granite worktops. Fully equipped with all modern cookware and utensils. Table and seating for eight. Utility room with large washer and separate dryer and rear entrance to the house.
